Workers who sustained injuries at the World Trade Center during or after the 9/11 attacks are facing a deadline for filing their workers' compensation claims.

For rescue workers, first responders and members of construction crews, the deadline for claims is August 14, 2007. Attorneys recommend that all workers present on 9/11 and immediately after protect their rights by registering with the State of New York Workers Compensation Board at http://www.wcb.state.ny.us/.

If you or someone you know was exposed to dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center collapses and has experienced lung or other illness that may have resulted from this exposure, it may be in your best interest to consult an attorney. For a free case evaluation, click on the form to the right.
