I agree with the responder.How are these people livingwhy is the money being held not being given to them.As a tax payer of NY i want my tax money given to the RESPONDERS who saved and helped us on 911 without them who knows what would have happened.Mr.Governor you have the power to see that the responders get some type of money to live on now.So many families suffering only because their money is being held hostage.Enough is Enough it is long over due the attorneys are getting paid why not the responders.This is America help thoses in need.

New York Labor Law sections 240 and 241 offer victims of crane collapses and other falls or failures from elevated heights major relief as a matter of law. Many times, the mere instance of a crane collapse results in automatic liability for the general contractor and site owner, and an actual analysis of negligence is not required. Where permanent disability or death results to a construction worker, the injured worker, spouse and children may have a claim worth many millions of dollars.
