By now, most people have heard about the Crown Princess cruise ship accident that occurred off the coast of Port Canaveral yesterday. Orlando's Local6.com provides first-hand accounts from passengers aboard the ship when it developed steering problems and rolled to one side.

Among the more chilling tales recounting the experience was New Jersey resident Dan France:

"When I was running down through the hallways, there was water cascading down the stairs. When we felt it happen, the ship started to tilt all the way to one side. All of the furniture and everything moved from one end of the room. My wife and mother-in-law's chairs slid into the railing and they held on for dear life."
