El Matador Enterprises, the makers of Margaritaville Tortillla Chips announced a voluntary recall of their 13-ounce bags of “Margaritaville Island Lime Tortilla Chips" because they may contain undeclared whey in the spice blend.

People who have a severe allergy or sensitivity to milk protein are at risk of developing a serious health problem or illness if they consume the recalled products.

The products were distributed through retail stores only. The company is working to recover any affected products remaining.

The “best by” date is listed on the bag as December 6, 2008 with a UPC code of 647671310122.

Consumer Information: customers who purchased this product are urged to return it to the store to receive a full refund. Consumers who have questions can contact the company directly at (877) 791-6767.
