fungal eye infection Fusarium Keratitis are being reported around the world and Bausch & Lomb announced today that it would withdraw the Moisture Loc Renu product worldwide and acknowledged that a "large number of factors" have combined to put users of Bausch & Lomb's ReNu Moisture Loc at increased risk of developing the rare but potentially dangerous fungal infection of Fusarium Keratitis. You have to wonder whether these companies are actually testing these eye solutions to determine whether they would be a breeding ground for Fungi. This has to be a money maker for Bausch & Lomb and can't imagine it being closely regulated by the FDA.
